econet Supported the Second Sino-German Energy Conservation Technology Exchange and Cooperation Forum – Shijiazhuang, July 23rd-24th 2015


In a joint cooperation with GIZ econet china successively supported the Second Sino-German Energy Conservation Technology Exchange and Cooperation Forum at the 10th  China Energy Conservation Service Industry Summit again this year from 23rd to 24th July, 2015.

Mr.Dai Yande, deputy director of the Energy Research Institute NDRC, Wang Wanxing, project director of the electricity project under US Energy Foundation, Wu Daohong, director of EMCA and Sandra Retzer, cluster head of energy, transport and urbanization at the GIZ, welcomed the over 300 participants for the two day conference.

"Whether it is energy conservation or the management of haze, the ultimate solution is the governance of pollutant sources" Dai Yande said in his speech, "to improve energy efficiency and develop renewable energy is the key to the success of the battle against energy shortage in China. Considering it is very difficult to replace the existing fossil energy with the same amount of renewable energy for now, energy efficiency is the only available solution today and the inherent demands of economic and social development of our country.” Director of EMCA, Mr. WU started his speech focusing on the relevant energy-saving and emission reduction requirements from the government, and then moved onto a detailed analysis of the future market potential of ESCO services in China. Ms. Retzer, representing the GIZ, expressed her expectation for positive outcomes from the cooperation between German energy-saving technologies and Chinese energy management companies.

Since the establishment of the summit over 130 innovative energy-saving technologies were presented and around 1,800 companies and 3,500 professionals participated.

Over the two days five German companies had the stage to present their leading energy efficient solutions which they actively provide  in the Chinese market. The presented Germen companies included Kubler (high efficient radiative heating system), Solar-log (PV monitoring system), Smartheat (high efficient heat pumps and supporting systems), Man (natural gas motor and gas turbine), and Certuss (steam boiler for hospitals).
