2013-09-17

As a well known professional green real estate developer, Landsea is now transforming itself by integrating technology services, real estate development, senior services and financing, while it’s now dedicated to build up the green technologies as the group’s core competence with vertical diversification.

On September 13th, econet china organized a fieldtrip to the Landsea Green Building Technology R&D center in Changxing. This project shows a good practice of landsea in capacity building in the green technologies.  The visit was accompanied by Saskia Schmidt, Consul of German Consulate in Shanghai as well as about 25 delegates from econet partner companies. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Xie Yuanjian, (Vice President and CTO of the Landsea Group) at the Bavarian style canteen for a business lunch.

Following a round visit of the first phase construction site, Landsea introduced the project concept, implementation of green building technologies, the certification systems and the future operation.

The first phrase is comprised of a conference & training center, the Passive House Bruck and the laboratory building. The Training center has been completed and put into operation by end of 2012. As a collaborative project with the German Passive House Institute, the Passive House Bruck is planned to be completed by the end of this year and built up as an accommodation building. It will be the first passive house which is designed and constructed in the hot summer & cold winter region.

The Changxing Base is aimed to develop and research on innovative products, building materials and construction process by implementing integrated applications and develop into a national green building R&D demonstration area in the future, told by Mr. Wang Lihua from Landsea Technology Co.,Ltd.

Each of the participating partners (FTA, Rheinzink, Rhinescheme, Steinel, Sto, TUEV SUED, Wacker, Warema and Ytong) gave a short introduction of their solutions and benefits, and also the Changxing County Government offered a good overview of the latest development and investment opportunity in Changxing. This was followed by an open discussion for collaboration and networking.

This fieldtrip creates a very good occasion for the German officials, industry as well as Landsea to get together and facilitate further partnership in promoting energy efficient buildings in China.
