Sino-German Energy Efficiency & Energy Management Network Suzhou Industry Park (SGEEN SIP) - KICK-OFF-WORKSHOP

econet china organized a Kick-Off-Workshop of Sino-German Energy Efficiency & Energy Management Network Suzhou Industry Park (SGEEN SIP) together with SIP and Arqum on December 3rd at the Suzhou Industry Park. The workshop was visited by German technology providers, Energy users from SIP Energy Efficiency Association, including the 5 pilot project companies and a representative of the Suzhou Industrial Park Administration Committee (SIPAC).

One city

Besides introducing all project partners to each other, presenting the project objectives, schedule and upcoming tasks, German technology providers introduced their technology in the field of energy saving.

The initiators brought over 60 attendees together. 7 companies in the field of energy efficiency, of them 3 econet partners (Steinel, KMA and energy design) and Energy users from SIP Energy Efficiency Association, including the 5 pilot project companies (Sika, Nokia, Mondelez, SEW, Powertech) participated in the workshop.

Following the welcome address given by Wang Haixian, the Project Manager of Arqum and Xiao Leng, Business Development Manager of econet china which was translated by Hao Rui, Business Manager Senior Engineer of Sinopec Nanjing Engineering & Construction, Wang Haixian introduced the target of SEEGN and the project implementation concept.

Thereupon Osram kicked off the presentation of the German technology providers, followed by Kaeser, Duerr, Steinel, KMA, Grundfos and energydesign, which provided a worthwhile overview of the variety of technologies. It was a great opportunity for German companies to showcase what "Energy Efficiency - made in Germany" has to offer!Thereafter the event was concluded through a discussion round opened by Wang Haixian.
