IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS continues its success story

Visitor promotion reaches new heights, more than 20,000 visitors expected at IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS 2011.


IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS 2011, the International Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse, Recycling and Natural Energy Resources, which will be held from 5 to 7 May 2011 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), is expected to be the most influential environmental protection show in Asia in 2011. The show will attract around 750 national and international exhibitors, who will present the latest technologies and solutions in water and sewage treatment, waste disposal and recycling, air-pollution control, environmental technology and renewable energies. Leading enterprises in the industry will gather at the show. Ten pavilions from Austria, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan and USA will attend the most important branch event in Asia.

This year’s IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS features 36 scientific and technical conference events at the highest level, which will give visitors a cutting-edged look at the developments of products, systems and processing in the sector for environmental technology. Furthermore these events support all participants not only in establishing contacts among specialists from all around the world but also in expanding existing contacts by networking with representatives of the industrial sector, ministries, government agencies, institutions and trade associations.

Another highlight is the fact that Ms. Katherina Reiche, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), will attend the opening ceremony of IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS at the East Entrance of SNIEC on 5 May at 10:30 a.m. in order to deliver words of welcome. In addition, Ms. Reiche will also participate in the workshop on “Sustainable Solid Waste Management and Resource Efficiency” and “Circular Economy - Contribution to Resource Management and Climate Protection” organized by the BMU.

With IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS 2011 just around the corner, the organization of visitor delegation for the show has reached new heights. The organizer forecast that IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS 2011, covering 35,000 square meters of exhibition space, will attract more than 20,000 trade visitors. In order to shorten registration time on-site, visitors should register online at www.ifat-china.com in the run-up to the show. Online registered visitors can obtain their badges when they arrive at the “Pre-Registered Visitors” counter using their confirmation of pre-registration. As of to-date, visitors from 50 countries and regions have pre-registered. Trade associations from various provinces and cities in China will be organizing group visits for their members.
